Well, now is the time to step forward and offer your time, however small or big:
Marketing, recruitment and communications: help write the newsletter and articles for local newspapers, manage social media, recruit home nursery volunteers, remind and advise volunteers on the health of their home nursery plants
Animal monitoring: help monitor insect, bird, mammal and other animal life at our gardens to help with continuous improvement of the green spaces
Area liaison: help manage the garden network within your area, recruit volunteers from local organisations, liaise with local conservationists about appropriate greening for the area.
Fundraising and material gathering: help raise money or source quality soil, plant cuttings and seeds for upcoming projects
Home nursery training: help with volunteer nurturing and development including organising monthly training for home nursery volunteers with subject experts
IT development: help with improving and growing our online system to cater for upcoming projects
Interested in any of these? Have an idea of your own? Write your name down here and we will contact you in the new year to discuss the options further.
