This week we'll be weeding and sheet mulching. Ryan Road Park is almost "summer ready" so this will be one of the last events at this site. This time we will be trying a new technique to remove the grass and to prepare for growing new plants next year when the rains come. We'll be sheet mulching, which you can read more about here:

Furthermore, we'll finish up our weeding activities. Join us! Because of the sheet mulching, please bring CARDBOARD if you have any! And for weeding any cutters, spades, and gloves that you may have come in handy.
Note: we start later than usual due to the heat. We'll be working from 16.30-18.00.
