Scientific name

A bulbous perennial with a modest 6 petalled white flower, purplish on the reverse, and narrow grey-green erect leaves.

Grows in sandy and clay soil flats. This plant if listed as 'least concern' because it is very tolerant to disturbance and found flowering en masse at disturbed sites.
