Scientific name

This plant has upright, flat, pointed, strap-like leaves and grows up to 1.5m tall. Found on damp mountain slopes of granite and sandstone and near stream banks.

Propagation instructions

By seed

Winter-growing Gladiolus plants can be grown from seeds or corms, which must be sown or planted in autumn, in well-drained soil.
