Bulbous perennial, 6-25mm with a 1 or 2 lance-shaped leaves that are plain green or spotted green or purple; bears nodding, cylindrical flowers 20-32mm long, on short pedicals, plain or densely spotted with pink or red, inner tepals much longer than the outer; the anthers are concealed within the flowers .
