Scientific name

Reseeding, soft, rush-like shrublet up to 40cm. Leaves needle-like up to 30cm long, subtended by large stipules joined to the petioles; solitary blue or purple flowers with white nectar patch on stalks up to 10mm long, hairless calyx.
