Alma bridge plot - Site #80

This site borders Liesbeek Parkway and Alma Road, right next to the bridge over the Liesbeek. It is a sloped plot next to the cycle/walking path towards the river. Due to the slope, this plot was not to have any grass on it (as the council can't mow it on a slope). However, there is nothing but grass here.

Local greener Gill Lanham has started adding some indigenous vegetation here. We aim to continue this work and replace the grass for better groundcovers like sour fig and other indigenous plants.
