"I've planted everything in existing plant boxes I had which are neither too shallow nor too deep and well-drained. They already contained potting soil which I had bought some time again at the nursery for annual plants I had previously. The boxes are exposed to full mid-day sun. I just keep the soil moist by watering small quantities of water with a yoghurt container just before it dries out -- depending on weather conditions. In other words, just enough water to quench their thirst when they become too dry."
