Black River (Aug 08, 2017)

Heath went out to Black River to collect material for his basket weaving. The left overs were tops of bull rushes so Frances took them to propagate from 75 Harrington.

Batch #3 Umbrella sedge 130 cutting Heath cut the stems to about 2 cm, while the recommended length is 5 cm, and I left the cut stems in a closed plastic bag for 2 days before planting/putting in water. This might affect propagation, although the plants are very hardy, resprouting after drought and clumps known to last for centuries!
