Southern suburbs cobra lily mapping (Aug 31, 2017)

The cobra lily, an iconic species from the Cape Floristic Kingdom, is currently flowering. We want to take advantage and try to map them, now that we can more easily recognize and photograph them. After we have mapped them, we can then harvest seeds when they become available in a month or so. In order to cover a larger area, we will be heading out on bicycles! So please bring you bike and let's explore!

We will start at Alma Park in Rosebank. Meet us there at 15.00 and join us for a lovely cycle while mapping and photographing cobra lilies.
