Newlands Tree Stump Garden - Site #102

This site is the remains of a very old tree that died from a bad prune. We will replace the grass with indigenous plants and fill the stump with soil and plants to bring some life after death. This site is next to Newlands pool very close to another garden along the Liesbeek River called Sans Souci River patch. This patch will be an educational garden for children that go to the pool and will support surviving Fynbos bulbs in a road verge nearby, by bringing pollinators to the flowers so that the isolated plants can be pollinated
